Frisco Residents - Looking for ways to reach your full Water Wise potential? The City of Frisco wants to help!
While supplies last, the City of Frisco is offering to trade up your current showerhead to a water-efficient showerhead for free!
To take advantage of this water-saving option, bring your current showerhead and your latest Frisco water bill to the Public Works facility and we will give you a free water-saving showerhead, along with information on other water-saving tips for your home.
Water-saving shower heads are easy to install, and by doing so the average household could reduce indoor water usage by up to 40%!
We have two kinds of showerheads - a white one that uses 1.5 gallons per minute (gpm) and a chrome/silver one that uses 1.75 gpm. To be considered effective, water-saving showerheads must use less than 2.0 gpm and still work as well or better than conventional models.
Make sure when you come by to pick up your water-saving showerhead that you bring your Frisco water bill and your current showerhead. We can provide one free showerhead per home. We will not collect your old showerhead, but we need to see it to confirm that the new fixture will be installed. If you are not satisfied with the new showerhead, either put your old one back on or look for a different style of water efficient head at your local hardware store.

You can pick up your showerhead at the Public Works Facility located at 11300 Research Road in Frisco (take the second street just east of the Home Depot on Eldorado Pkwy). Our office hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
