Frisco's Stage 3 Restrictions

Frisco moved to 'Stage 3' Drought Restrictions on Tuesday, November 1. The city's water supplier, the North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD), reports Lavon Lake could be dry by fall 2012, under worse case conditions. Residents and businesses are urged to 'Turn Off' their sprinkler systems. Lawns and landscaping need little to no water during winter months. Leaving the sprinkler system turned off is the best way to stop unnecessary waste.

Limit landscape watering at each service address to once every seven days based on location within the residential trash collection zones. Non-residential customer watering days are based on location within the residential trash collection day zone. View the watering schedule map

If needed, water using a hand-held hose for your trees and shrubs and use soaker hoses around the foundation for no more than two hours a day. View the Drought and Emergency Response Plan Guide.
