CHUNK YOUR JUNK
The next Chunk Your Junk event will happen on Saturday, November 15, in celebration of America Recycles Day. The event will take place from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. at the Environmental Collection Center (6616 Walnut Street). Click here for a map to our location. Frisco residents with a utility billing account can donate, recycle or throw away common household items.
Did you know? Many of the same items can be disposed of at our Environmental Collection Center on Wed 2-5 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. To learn more about what we accept during open hours, click here.
HOLIDAY SCHEDULE - CURBSIDE TRASH AND RECYCLING COLLECTION
No trash or recycling services are provided on Thanksgiving Day, November 27. Due to the holiday, these services will be delayed one day. For example, Thursday service moves to Friday, November 28, and Friday service moves to Saturday, November 29. To learn more about the holiday schedule, click here.
The Environmental Services offices and the Environmental Collection Center will be CLOSED in observance of the holiday on November 27, 28 and 29. We will re-open to the public the following Monday.
YARD WASTE PICKUP
After August 1, yard waste will be collected on your regular service day alongside trash and recycling. If your yard waste is missed, please call 972-292-5900 or email us at EnvironmentalServices@FriscoTexas.gov. We will do our best to make sure it is collected.
REPORTING MISSED TRASH OR RECYCLING
If your trash or recycling is missed on your regular service day, please call or email us as soon as possible the following morning. It is less likely the Progressive drivers will be able to return to an area if misses are reported several days afterward.
