Show Frisco you care about your community and the environment by adopting a street! The Adopt-a-Street program provides individuals, civic organizations, and others with an opportunity to help beautify their community by volunteering their services to collect litter alongside Frisco streets.
It's an easy way for groups to help the community.
It makes a visible impact on your local environment.
It helps build community and group pride.
It reduces litter cleanup costs and saves taxpayers' money.
What does the program entail?
When you adopt a street you agree to maintain a two mile stretch of a Frisco roadway for one year. Clean ups must be conducted at least four times and year with the inclusion of the city’s annual “Clean It and Green It event held in the spring. Adopt-A-Streets can be made by an individual, family, group, or club.
What about supplies?
All supplies such as grabbers, vests, and gloves are provided by the City before each clean up to ensure a safe and fun event. Each adopted street will also receive the new Frisco Adopt a Street sign displaying the name of the individual or group.
This is a great way to give back you your community, keep Frisco beautiful, teach others about citizenship, and have a great time.
