Gregory L. Ward is Operations Bureau Commander for the Frisco Police Department. Deputy Chief Ward has 23 years of law enforcement experience and currently holds a master peace officer license in the State of Texas. He received a criminal justice degree from Southwest Texas State University in 1985 and is also a graduate of the FBI National Academy.
Deputy Chief Ward has supervisory experience in patrol, criminal investigations, special operations, school resource officer programs, community services and communications. He now provides oversight for the department’s Patrol Division, Traffic Division, Special Operations Unit, Detention Facility and the department’s firearms program.
Deputy Chief Ward came to the Frisco Police Department in 1999, with previous law enforcement experience at Southwest Texas State University Police Department and Carrollton Police Department.
