To amend PD-52:
- rezoning a 50.0± acre tract
from PD-52- Industrial to PD-Patio Home,
- rezoning the remaining tracts in PD-52 to
straight zoning of Townhome, Retail, and
Industrial (removing from PD).
225.8± acres and is located on the west side of FM 423,
north of Panther Creek Road.
The applicant is requesting to rezone a portion of PD-52 to allow the development of a patio home community similar to the Queen’s Gate development on the north side of Rolater Road, east of Preston Road. The development standards proposed closely match those of the Queen’s Gate development and to the recently approved Oakmont at Frisco on Main Street, east of FM 423.
Staff is recommending that the remainder of the Planned Development tracts be rezoned to straight zoning districts of Townhome, Retail and Industrial. The Planned Development contains no additional development standards for the Industrial, Retail, or Townhome Districts.
