Share your ideas for the Future of Frisco!

09-10-14 Open House at Maus MSFrisco is updating the COMPREHENSIVE PLAN, the Plan that
outlines the city’s vision of the future and provides
guidance on how and where development occurs in the city.
Your ideas and suggestions are important to our future
quality of life and economic vitality.

Please join us at a Community Open House and
share your ideas for making Frisco the place you
want to live, work, and play now and in the future.

  •  Learn about the comprehensive planning process and the goals of the Plan update.
  •  Share your ideas to help us develop a preferred growth scenario.
  •  Tell us about the implementation strategies and actions that you feel are the best fit for Frisco.

This open house is designed so you can come and go as you please.  There will be ‘stations’ with information about various aspects of Frisco’s future – guiding principles, growth scenarios, and Frisco as a place to live, work, learn, play, and travel.  The activities at each station will give you choices about how to share your ideas for Frisco to influence the final, preferred growth scenario and the implementation strategies and actions.  You can visit any or all of these stations beginning at 6 p.m.

At 7 p.m., a brief presentation will explain the City’s objectives in updating the plan, the plan update process, why we use growth scenarios, implications of choices, and how your input will be used.  We'll explain the direction that's being developed for general policy and guiding principles.  After the presentation, you will again be able to visit any of the stations to share your ideas and imagine the best possible future for Frisco.
