Frisco’s Comprehensive & Environmental Division is dedicated to implementing the City's long range plans through the Comprehensive Plan and addressing ecological issues that contribute to the long term sustainability of the city's natural systems. The division concentrates on the following activities for the City of Frisco:
- Creation and administration of the City of Frisco Comprehensive Plan.
- Creation of policy statements that address environmental quality issues
for the City of Frisco.
- Creation and administration of sustainable building programs.
- Creation and administration of estimates, forecasts, and projections
of demographic data.
- Provide guidance to City of Frisco staff, elected and appointed bodies,
and citizens on issues relating to the environment, long-range planning,
historic/cultural resources, sustainability, and demographics.
