(December 6, 2013 – 10:20 a.m.) Residential and commercial trash and recycling have been canceled for Friday, December 6. Friday’s residential collection will move to Monday, December 9, according to the City of Frisco Division of Environmental Services. See below for information about city facilities and services affected by the inclement weather.
Trash and recycling collection: Services during the week of December 9 – 14 will be delayed one day. Regular services for Monday, December 9, will move to Tuesday, December 10. Tuesday services move to Wednesday. Wednesday’s services move to Thursday. Thursday services move to Friday, and normal services scheduled for Friday, December 13, will move to Saturday, December 14.
Environmental Services staff members are monitoring weather to best determine rescheduling of commercial collection. For questions, please call Progressive Waste Services at 469-452-8000.
Frisco Athletic Center: Open normal hours. Pool closed. Fun Club, child care and fitness classes are canceled for today.
Frisco Fire Safety Town: Closed because of inclement weather. Operations will resume Monday.
Frisco Municipal Court: Jury trials are canceled Friday. Court will operate normal hours. All required appearances, due dates and payments will be due by 4:30 p.m. Monday, December 9.
FRisco Public Library: Open normal hours.
Frisco Senior Center: Opening delayed until noon. No transportation provided.
