(April 22, 2011) All traffic on Del Webb Blvd will be switched to the north side of the road at FM 423 starting this afternoon, April 22.
East and westbound traffic will now share the northern half of the road while the southern half of the intersection is reconstructed. This will change the alignment of Del Webb Boulevard where it connects to FM 423 so motorists approaching the intersection should pay attention to the new location of stop lines.
Motorists are urged to use caution in this area as people become accustomed to the new traffic patterns at the intersection. The ‘traffic switch’ is necessary to TxDOT’s FM 423 widening project.
