(February 27, 2014) Prepare for spring’s arrival by becoming ‘water wise’ and participating in Frisco’s Town Hall meeting on Monday, March 3. Attendees will receive a free, moisture meter to help determine when watering is needed during continuing water restrictions.
The meeting will be held in the council chambers at City Hall in the George A. Purefoy Municipal Center, 6101 Frisco Square Blvd. Various city department representatives will staff ‘information stations’ beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the atrium.
Can’t attend in person? Residents will appreciate the convenience of Frisco’s telephone format. Listen in and participate by dialing 888 – 409 – 5380, toll free. Frisco’s registered voters will receive a phone call Monday night, inviting them to join the meeting.
At 7 p.m., staff will brief residents on continuing Stage 3 water restrictions and our water supply status; the latest regarding reconstruction of Stonebrook Parkway; and the process for updating our city’s Comprehensive Plan (Comp Plan) and how you can help shape this blueprint for guiding our community’s future growth.
Residents will have the opportunity to ask questions in person or by phone. The ‘Q & A’ portion of the meeting will follow staff presentations.
Town Hall meetings last approximately two hours and typically take place three times each year.
