Main St. Reduced to One Lane Between Independence, Custer Roads on Aug. 2

(August 1, 2013) As part of the Texas Department of Transportation's widening project, Main Street will be reduced to one lane between Independence Parkway and Custer Road between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Friday, August 2. Flaggers will stop traffic on either end of the closure and then allow traffic to take turns flowing in alternating directions through the single open lane.

Motorists should expect delays on Main Street between Independence and Custer during the lane closure. Through traffic can use an alternate route such as Eldorado Parkway to the north or Rolater Road to the south.  Motorists are urged to use caution in the area and to watch for flaggers.
