(September 9, 2013) A high school student was transported via air ambulance to Parkland Hospital in Dallas after he was injured during football practice.
Frisco firefighters were called to Centennial High School, 6901 Coit Rd., at 4:26 p.m. The first ambulance arrived on the scene at 4:35 p.m. Careflite arrived at the school at 4:57 p.m.
Firefighters say school officials report two players collided on the practice field during a tackling drill, resulting in the injuries.
Further details surrounding the player’s injuries, as well as his condition are unknown.
