(October 25, 2013) Your costume might be spooky or just plain silly, but don’t miss this chance to show it off early at Frisco Fire Safety Town’s 7th annual Fall Festival with Trick-or-Treating. The popular event is slated for 6 p.m.-9 p.m. tonight.
Children and their parents are invited to dress in costume and visit with the fire clowns, get an up-close look at real firefighting equipment and explore the facility’s safety house. Toddlers to fifth graders will enjoy practicing fire escape training in the ‘smoke bedroom,’ climbing into a fire engine and trick-or-treating in the miniature version of Frisco landmarks.
The event takes place at Frisco Fire Safety Town, 8601 Gary Burns Drive. It is free and open to the public.
Visitors are encouraged to use free remote parking at the Frisco Athletic Center, 5828 Nancy Jane Lane, because of large crowds and extremely limited parking near the facility. A free shuttle starts running at 5 p.m. Visit the website for more information.
