(August 29, 2011) As part of TxDOT’s Preston Road widening project, Fisher Road will be closed at Preston Road for three days starting at 9:00 a.m. Monday morning, August 29. The road is expected to reopen by 4:30 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, August 31.
During the closure, motorists on Preston Road who want to turn west onto Fisher Road should instead turn west on Eldorado Parkway and then south on Rogers Road to arrive at Fisher Road. Motorists on Fisher Road who want to turn onto Preston Road should turn north onto Rogers Road and then east on Eldorado Parkway to arrive at Preston Road. Detour signs will be posted.
Motorists are urged to use caution in the construction zone and to choose an alternate route in advance.
