FRISCO, TEXAS (Nov. 14, 2011) — If you are between the ages of 12-18 and love to put prose on paper, Frisco Public Library has a program for you.
Teens interested in honing their writing skills are invited to attend a series of Teen Writers Workshops, where participants share their work and have it peer-critiqued by librarians and writers their own age. Bring any kind of creative writing, such as poetry, flash fiction, short stories, novel excerpts, essays, and creative non-fiction. The Teen Writers Workshops will take place on the fourth Saturday of the month; Jan. 28, Feb. 25, March 24, and April 28, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. The program will be held in the Teen Room at Frisco Public Library, 6101 Frisco Square Blvd. Space is limited. First come, first served.
