(October 8, 2010) City of Frisco Municipal Court Administrator Matthew Freeman was honored this week with the 2010 Distinguished Service Award from the Texas Court Clerks Association (TCCA). The award was presented at the organization’s annual conference banquet on October 4 in Southlake, TX.
The annual award recognizes a service, program, or an individual in a court profession who serves in a non-judicial capacity. Freeman won for his work on legislative reform and for assisting other courts with several cost-saving initiatives in warrant notification and warrant enforcement.
“The TCCA award is the result of Matthew Freeman’s significant contributions, not only to our court, but also to the improvement of municipal courts throughout Texas,” said Judge Mike Drewry. “His extensive experience has increased the operational efficiency and customer service of the Frisco Municipal Court.”
Freeman currently serves as the legislative committee chair for the North Texas Court Clerks Association Chapter.
