Frisco Police Investigate Shooting

(June 30, 2017) At approximately 10:43 am, Frisco Police responded to the 12000 block of Henderson Drive in reference to a 911 call of a gunshot.

Upon arrival, officers located a 30 year old male gunshot victim outside, near the original call location. The adult male was transported to a local hospital with what appeared to be a single gunshot wound and has been pronounced deceased.

Preliminary investigations suggests that two unknown males approached the victim in front of his home. A small struggle ensued and the victim was shot. The two suspects fled the scene in an unknown vehicle as the victim ran away from the scene.

The incident is currently being investigated by Frisco Detectives and does not appear to be a random shooting. Investigators feel that this is an isolated incident at this time.
