(March 23, 2023) As part of a reconstruction project in the City of McKinney, both directions of Eldorado Pkwy will be closed east of Custer Rd starting Monday, March 27. Eastbound Eldorado Parkway has already been closed for about a month at this location and now the westbound direction will also be closed starting Monday.  This expanded road closure is expected to remain in place for three months. 

During this closure, traffic in Frisco on eastbound Eldorado Pkwy will not be able to continue straight into McKinney.  This traffic must turn right on Custer Rd and then use Stonebridge Dr as an alternate route to reach eastbound Eldorado Pkwy. Similarly, traffic in McKinney on westbound Eldorado Parkway will also need to use Stonebridge Drive as an alternate route to drive into Frisco.  See the alternate routes on the attached map.  Detour signs will be posted.
