(February 24, 2023) As part of a reconstruction project in the City of McKinney, eastbound Eldorado Pkwy will be closed east of Custer Rd starting Monday, February 27.  In addition, the left-turn lane on westbound Eldorado Pkwy at Custer Rd will be closed.  These closures are expected to remain in place for three months. 

During this closure, traffic in Frisco on eastbound Eldorado Pkwy will not be able to continue straight into McKinney.  This traffic must turn right on Custer Rd and then use Stonebridge Dr as an alternate route to reach eastbound Eldorado Pkwy.  In addition, it will not be possible to turn left from westbound Eldorado Pkwy onto southbound Custer Rd.  Any traffic on westbound Eldorado Pkwy wishing to go south on Custer Rd should turn left onto Stonebridge Dr and then turn left onto Custer Rd.  See the alternate routes on the attached map (PDF).  Detour signs will be posted.
