Dominion Hike & Bike Trail Project Construction Begins October 3

(October 3, 2022) Construction on the Dominion Hike & Bike Trail Project begins Monday, October 3 as part of the city's Hike and Bike Master Plan. The project is expected to be completed in late 2023. The existing trail on the north side of the creek will be replaced by a 12-foot hike & bike trail and bridge crossings will be constructed. (View the location map).

During construction, the sidewalk along Panther Creek will be closed between Hillcrest Rd. and Preston Rd./SH 289. Temporary traffic controls will be set up along Guerin Dr., Villanova Dr. and McCommas Dr. where ramps will be placed on sidewalks. Drivers should be mindful of signage and cones as temporary lane adjustments may be needed throughout construction. For your safety, please respect all signs and barricades in the project area.

About Dominion Trail Project
