Our mission is to be dedicated, environmentally responsible stewards of our community and the earth. Our goal is to sustain and improve the quality of life of all who call Frisco their home and to safeguard our natural resources for present and future generations. We are responsible for residential recycling and trash services, commercial building waste and recycling services, environmental education and outreach, and household hazardous waste safe disposal.
In recognition of Memorial Day, your weekly curbside services (recycling, trash, and yard waste) will be one day late. If your regular curbside services occur on Mondays, your refuse will be collected Tuesday, May 31st. If your regular curbside services occur on Tuesdays, your refuse will be collected on Wednesday, June 1st. If your regular curbside services occur on Wednesdays, your refuse will be collected on Thursday, June 2nd. If your regular curbside services occur on Thursdays, your refuse will be collected on Friday June 3rd. If your regular curbside services occur on Fridays, your refuse will be collected on Saturday, June 4th. Monday, June 6th all curbside services will resume as normal.
For bulk waste pick-up of the first Saturday of the month, June 4, will be combined with the second Saturday of the month, June 11. No other bulk waste pick-ups will be effected.
Join us on Saturday, August 13 at 6616 Walnut Street from 8 a.m. to noon, dispose of your refuse, recyclables, metal, household hazardous waste (HHW), electronics, and more!
Don't want to wait? Visit our Environmental Collection Center on Wed 2 - 6 p.m. and Sat from 8 a.m.-1 p.m to dispose of HHW and electronics. Trash can be taken to the Custer Transfer Station at 9901 Custer Road in Plano, open Mon-Sat 8 am - 4 pm. Please bring your driver's license and a current Frisco water bill with matching address when you visit.
