We Are Open with Some Limitations

The court is open to the public with modified hours of operation and certain limitations following current city, state, and federal mandates.

Monday Through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

  • Open only for Walk-in customers
  • Limit of 10 customers in the lobby at any time
  • Individuals going in with customers will be allowed only when necessary
  • Masks are required to be worn in the Frisco Municipal Court
  • The court also requires the practicing of social distancing and encourages use of hand sanitizer when conducting business with the court. 


Public Health NOTICE

Customers must wear face coverings and keep social distancing. We encourage the use of good hygiene and sanitize or wash hands before approaching the counters or entering the courtroom.

If you are over 65 years old, have serious underlying health conditions, such as high blood pressure, chronic lung disease, diabetes, obesity, asthma, or a compromised immune system such as from chemotherapy for cancer or other conditions, Please DO NOT come to Court! Contact the Municipal Court and accommodations will be made with alternatives to a personal appearance or your case will be reset until a time that has been considered safe. Individuals are encouraged to use the E-Court Portal if available or contact the court staff at 972-292-5555.

Responsibilities

The Frisco Municipal Court has jurisdiction over class-C Misdemeanor and City Ordinance violations that occur within the corporate city limits and are punishable by fine only.
