City of Frisco Treasury Office

The Treasury Office manages the cash and debt management program for the City. 

The Treasury Division oversees and reconciles the City's bank depositories, merchant accounts and central cashiering. The Division also accounts for property and sales tax revenues, the collateralization of City funds and safekeeping of City investments.

Effective cash management is recognized as essential to good fiscal management. Cash management and effective investment strategy development will be pursued to take advantage of interest earnings as viable and material revenue to all City funds. The City’s portfolio shall be designed and managed in a manner responsive to the public trust and consistent with the City’s Investment Policy.

It is the policy of the City of Frisco, Texas that giving due regard to the safety and risk of investment, all available funds shall be invested in conformance with State and Federal Regulations, applicable Bond Ordinance requirements, formal Investment Policy and informal investment strategy.
