Frisco Commons Park


Join the City of Frisco, the Urban Forestry Board and the Frisco Garden Club for ArborFest, a celebration of trees and our urban forests at Frisco Commons Park. The goal of this event is to increase community understanding of the value of our urban forests and how our residents can contribute to the conservation of forests in Frisco. 

9 - 10 a.m.
Tree Planting and Ceremony

Presentations by the Frisco Garden Club, Urban Forestry Board, and Mayor's Office will be followed by a ceremonial tree planting, with the assistance of local scout troops.

10 - 11 a.m.
Guided Tree Tour

This guided hike (approximately 1-mile, ADA accessible) will be led by the Urban Forestry Board. The tour is an excellent opportunity to learn how to identify many of Frisco's tree species.

11 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Bonus Event! Buffalo Stomp - Wildflower Seed Planting

Can't get enough? The fun continues at Frisco Commons Park! Stick around for the Natural Resources Division and Frisco Garden Club's annual Buffalo Stomp event in the North Meadow. Learn about prairie ecosystems and help stomp seed into the ground to prepare for beautiful spring blooms.
